The earthquake in Nepal on April 25th 2015 has devastated one of the poorest countries in the world. Our friends, colleagues and thousands of people in Nepal fight the aftermath – grief, hunger and homelessness. As a result, the bubblebridge team – a Munich based marketing agency – founded Smiles to Nepal e.V. in Mai 2015 to help, where help is needed most.

Our commitment:

• All our work is voluntary. This allows us to use 100% of all donations for the good of the individual projects we support
• We support a sustainable and long-term reconstruction in Nepal
• We work with reliable local organisations enabling us to operate quickly, efficiently and in a transparent manner, as well as helping us to ensure that help really arrives where help is needed

Through years of working very closely with our team in Kathmandu we have all developed a very personal relationship to the country and its people. Many visits, longer stays in the country and daily talks with our team have resulted in the development of strong friendships and a awoken a lasting fascination for Nepal. Our aim with this charity is to ensure that the people in Nepal get their smiles back!

We know first hand where and what help is required and we can ensure that all donated funds get to exactly where they are needed. We work with local support teams that can act without bureaucracy. Our aim is to support the reconstruction in Nepal long term – also after the current media coverage and short-term aid have disappeared.

As all our work is solely voluntary, 100% of all donations will go straight into the individual projects.
